The moon is always moving. So are we. Wax + Wane takes place during the Waxing Crescent, Waxing Gibbous, Waning Gibbous and Waning Crescent phases. Candlelit Meditation and Sound Healing your nervous system reset Facilitated by Elizabeth and Mark This experience is designed to help your body and mind fully downshift. You’ll rest on plush 3 inch memory foam beds with pillows and blankets beneath soft candlelight while breath, visualization, and sound guide you into deep regulation and rest. The first half of the class begins with the breathwork of this moon cycle, helping slow the nervous system and bring you into the present moment. From there, Elizabeth guides a meditation and Marks weave crystal bowls, Tibetan bowls, chimes, drums, and other vibrational instruments throughout, supporting focus, relaxation, and mental clarity. The second half of the class becomes a fully immersive sound bath. Both facilitators play simultaneously, surrounding you with layered sound and vibration. Research shows sound healing can help calm the stress response, support the parasympathetic nervous system, lower cortisol levels, improve sleep quality, and reduce anxiety by guiding the brain into slower, restorative states. Many people leave feeling clearer, lighter, emotionally settled, and deeply rested, as if the body has finally had permission to exhale. No experience is needed. No refunds or rescheduling. **THE FOUR PHASES** 🌒 **Waxing Crescent** The Moon is between the New Moon and First Quarter. The illuminated portion we see is growing each night. 🌔 **Waxing Gibbous** The Moon is between First Quarter and Full Moon. More than half is illuminated and it continues growing toward full. 🌖 **Waning Gibbous** The Moon is between the Full Moon and Last Quarter. More than half is still illuminated but the visible light is decreasing each night. 🌘 **Waning Crescent** The Moon is between Last Quarter and New Moon. Less than half remains illuminated as it moves toward the next New Moon.
