The illuminated portion we see is growing each night. 🌔 **Waxing Gibbous** The Moon is between First Quarter and Full Moon. More than half is illuminated and it continues growing toward full. 🌖 **Waning Gibbous** The Moon is between the Full Moon and Last Quarter. More than half is still illuminated but the visible light is decreasing each night. 🌘 **Waning Crescent** The Moon is between Last Quarter and New Moon. Less than half remains illuminated as it moves toward the next New Moon.
